I have worked in family, bankruptcy, and debtor-creditor litigation both as a member of small law firms and as a solo practitioner since 1978.
I helped to stop unfair motor vehicle repossessions in Pennsylvania with the injunction granted by the Court in the case of Malachin vs. Daimler Chrysler Financial Services Americas LLC, No. GD 07-001832.

Why did you decide to become an attorney?
I wanted to change how people are treated in the court system.
What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?
Thirty four years of representing people in court have taught me to respect and listen to my clients, and to give them my full attention and diligence.
What made you choose your primary area of law?
Acting quickly to solve family, bankruptcy and business litigation problems gives me the opportunity to turn around some very difficult situations for my clients.
What makes your law firm unique?
I care about my clients.

My ideal client is someone who is not afraid to go to court with me, and who is not afraid to fight.
Describe your personal interests and hobbies.
I enjoy any activity which involves being with my husband and children.
What charitable organizations do you support?
I am a pro bono volunteer for Neighborhood Legal Services Association, for the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and for the "Ladle and the Law" project with the Inns of Court for the Wallace Avenue Soup Kitchen.
